Customer Open Day

On 14 October 2009, FloorworX and Safic hosted an open day for customers. It was very exciting to interact with different clients from the flooring industry. This was also an opportunity to launch the Floorcare Range to the public. It was a very informative event but not with it share of fun as there were prizes given away to some lucky guests.

The activities that took place, conducted by Safic were as follows:

Strip and Seal Demonstrations
We had a temporary vinyl floor which was especially laid out for the day. The National Sales Manager highlighted the importance of preparing the floor correctly before the strip and seal process takes place. This was crucial in ensuring that the good quality of the floor that has been laid remains. He then proceeded to perform the stripping followed by the sealing of the floor.

Factory Site Tour
The R&D and Total Quality Manager took the visitors on a specially organized tour of the Safic factory facilities. He took them through the various plants explaining the processes. There was a very high interest in the adhesive manufacturing process as many of the guests were contractors.
