Greening Safic
Safic has joined the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), an international conservation organization. This adds on to Safic’s longstanding commitment to continue with innovative developments that will ensure the sustainability of our environment.
As a Principal Corporate Member of World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), the preservation of our natural resources is a key factor that influences our business everyday. We are committed to ensuring the sustainability of our environment by the implementation of awareness programmes internally and driving conservation projects together with our business partners.
Further, the Chemical and Allied Industries Association, (CAIA), launched a Responsible Care initiative aimed at ensuring that in the handling of raw materials and chemicals, industry role players would take care not to harm the environment. Safic is a proud Signatory and continues to uphold the values set out by the organisation.
Safic was the first company within the South African chemical industry to receive all 3 ISO accreditations in 2001. This was our first step as pioneers in our field and to further solidify our position, we won the Mail and Guardian ‘Greening the Future’ competition twice in a row.
By using our chemicals you can be certain of excellent product quality, minimal environmental impact and high health and safety standards!
